1C explored light with their handmade shadow puppets and some flashlights! 🔦❤️




So proud of our three singers who made Bergen County Chorus this year! I was able to attend their rehearsal Wednesday night, which sounded fabulous! They combine with students from all over the county to sing a concert this Sunday in Cresskill!


After a few tries at “The Chip Game”, 7th graders identified a strategy to produce a sustainable use of resources. We had fun and drew parallels between the chips and renewable resources! 🌎 🐠 🌱


Book Club #2 underway for 5K…. Readers are leaders!! 📚❤️





It takes a village, and I am so lucky to work in such a supportive environment at EMS with these awesome teachers who regularly go above and beyond to help out! Seen here in an impromptu program-folding circle.

After reading The Carrot Seed, children had the opportunity to participate in a multi-sensory activity as they practiced writing letters in sand trays using carrots! 🥕






KK is thankful for our wonderful parent volunteers who came in this morning to help our class make Thanksgiving placemats for a local nursing home, Thanksgiving centerpieces, cards and a gift to be given at our grade level Friendsgiving! 🦃😊
