Happy Wacky Wednesday from Coolidge 3D! 🤪

These 4th graders are learning about the elements of a drama. What better way to learn than to practice acting them out?! Super fun.

Kindergarten has been exploring the people and places in our school community, and today KC had a special guest! Mr. Lee answered their thoughtful questions about being a principal and shared why he loves working at Lincoln School. #wpslincoln

4Z and 4T working in groups to design, create and build catapults to show an example of energy!

Many of our amazing EMS students were recognized at the April BOE meeting for their accomplishments. We congratulate all our students who participated at the Model UN Conference and those two students who are going to a National Geography Bee Competition! Good luck, Carl and Jack! #teamonederful #modelun #geographybee

Students in 2B worked with Mrs. Soriano today during morning meeting to build a kindness web. The class learned that we are connected and that kindness has a ripple effect. #wpslincoln

KR built our school community with blocks! It was so special to share the rooms we build with the school personnel who work in the rooms!

4RU memorized the most digits of Pi as a class. We had tons of fun at our STEAM party....building, creating and collaborating!!

Happy Birthday, Mr. Raimo! We hope you enjoyed your Birthday Book!

5C Scientists at Lincoln School experimented with a non-Newtonian fluid: slime!! This fascinating material changes thickness when force is applied (like kneading it!), which is different from Newtonian fluids such as water or oil. The students stretched, squished, and bounced the slime to see how it doesn't behave like water!"

Super proud of our 5th grade researchers and the sites they created to teach their classmates about a historical figure and time period! From Harriet Tubman to Steve Jobs, we learned A LOT!

Lincoln Student Council geared up for our first spring "Campus Clean Up" this morning!

Fourth graders love Mad Libs in Morning Meeting to practice parts of speech.

Check out this fabulous block build of the Coolidge School main office created by our Kindergarten students.

Applied Tech (5th period) students just presented their toy design projects. Emphasis was on how the design process is cyclical with improvements added in each iteration. Here we have a basketball game, a whack-a-mole game, and marble maze.

The EMS Environmental club was hard at work in the Buehler Courtyard yesterday! We are currently working on a clean-up project to transform the courtyard in a nice usable space!

Building circuits in fourth grade with a battery, 1 wire and a lightbulb.

Applied Tech (3rd period) students just presented their toy/device/gadget design projects. Emphasis was on how the design process is cyclical with improvements added in each iteration. Here we have an electric guitar, a virtual pet, and a race car. A great job by all students!

The talented third and fourth graders at Lincoln School took the stage for an unforgettable concert, filling the room with music and joy! 🎤🎼👏 Check out these amazing moments from their "Be the Harmony" performance!

3D reading partnerships are off to a great start! These students are so excited to dive into a book of their choice with peers.
