February 2026 Message from Dr. Postma
Dear Wyckoff Families,
This month we celebrate National School Counselors Week (Feb 2-6) and also recognize National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day on February 15. We are grateful to our school counselors for supporting students’ academic growth, social-emotional development, and overall well-being. We also appreciate our school resource officers for their work in keeping our schools safe and welcoming. Their partnerships with staff, students, and families help make our schools strong and supportive communities. As we move into February, there are several opportunities for learning, engagement, and community connection to share with you.
🧩 Parent Programs
The Wyckoff PTO Coordinating Council, in partnership with NJ4S, is hosting the next parent seminar, Raising Resilience: Empowering Parents, Strengthening Kids, on February 3 at Eisenhower Middle School from 7–8 p.m. This free seminar is open to all parents of students PreK–Grade 8. Register here.
In addition, the Wyckoff SEPAG has added a director-led discussion focused on learning more about autism to its calendar. This informal question-and-answer session with Ms. Ciaramella will be held on March 19 at 9 a.m. Parents who wish to attend are asked to RSVP to Ms. Ridgeway at mridgeway@wyckoffschools.org.

🎵 Athletics & Arts Spotlight
Our EMS basketball teams are headed to the quarterfinals this week. Go Generals! We are proud of their energy, teamwork, and dedication.
Additionally, the winter concerts were a wonderful success. Thank you to our music teachers and students for sharing their talents and putting on such memorable performances.
🌟 Student Achievements
The EMS Geography Club recently competed at their second Regional Bee at Ridgewood High School. Congratulations to our students: three qualified for the National Geography Bee in Florida and one qualified for the International Geography Bee in Thailand. We are incredibly proud of all our students and advisors for their hard work and accomplishments in these challenging competitions.
I appreciate your involvement and support as we continue to make this school year a positive and engaging experience for every student.
