Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream for making our world kinder and more accepting. Through this craft, our Washington School kindergarteners were able to share their visions for the world. 🌎☮️






KD putting our story workshop ideas on paper! Over the last couple of weeks, students made stories out of loose parts, play dough, and water colors. Today, they chose one of those stories to spread across three pages. Can't wait to see the final pieces! 📝

After reading the book "Down the Road" by Alice Schertle, the children in KK were challenged during Makerspace to design some type of carrier or basket that could hold up to 3 eggs without tipping. Testing the creations was the most fun! 🥚






KK loved their time with 1C! It was so exciting to see a first grade classroom and listen to the 1st graders share their published stories! Wonderful job 1C, thank you for including us!
