PART 2

Our students combined creativity, engineering, and global learning as they took on a STEM building challenge inspired by the flags of countries around the world. Using a variety of building materials, they worked collaboratively to design and construct flag models while learning about different nations and their symbols.

In honor of Memorial Day, students also reflected on the American flag and the importance of remembering and honoring the brave men and women who have served our country. Through hands-on building and meaningful discussions, students explored how flags represent identity, pride, and history.

📚✨ Sicomac Library Mystery Readers ! ✨📚
PART 2

Throughout April and May, our students were delighted by a wonderful lineup of Mystery Readers! Family members and special guests joined us in the library to share favorite stories, inspire a love of reading, and create lasting memories with our students.

Each visit brought excitement, laughter, and plenty of guessing as students tried to figure out who was behind the mystery before the big reveal. Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for taking the time to make reading extra special for our Sicomac Eagles.

Reading buddies in the Outdoor Classroom! Today, Sicomac preschoolers and 4th graders shared stories, smiles, and special moments while reading together in the Outdoor Classroom. Our older students did a wonderful job helping their younger friends enjoy books, build confidence, and develop a love of reading. These cross-grade experiences create meaningful connections, foster leadership, and remind us that reading is even more fun when it's shared with a friend! @sicomacpto #SicomacSchool #ReadingBuddies #OutdoorClassroom #LoveOfReading #FutureReaders #SicomacEagles #ReadersAreLeaders
