Thank you so much to Mrs. McCurry and Ms. Reitano for organizing an amazing Field Day for our students. Their hard work, preparation, and creativity made for a great day! Thank you also to the Coolidge PTO for financially supporting the day, and thank you to our PTO Field Day chairs and all of the parent volunteers. The patriotic theme helped us honor and celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America.

On Monday, we will hold our annual Flag Day Ceremony at Coolidge School! This Coolidge tradition reminds our students of the freedoms that we have in our country and the importance of treating our flag with honor and respect. During the ceremony, we will hear an important message from our Student Council Executive Board about Flag Day and will sing some patriotic songs. Students and staff are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to school on Monday.
It is hard to believe that we are almost at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 school year! We look forward to continuing the recognition of our 5th grade with a Memory Book Breakfast on Monday, June 22nd, at 9:00 am in the MPR. This event is for students only and is coordinated by our 5th-grade parent reps. Following breakfast, all 5th-grade parents are invited to attend a brief ceremony in the gym at 9:45 am, where each child’s name will be called out, followed by a video prepared by our 5th-grade parent reps. Parents should enter directly via the gym doors. This event is limited to two parents per student. In addition, the 5th-grade “Clap Out” will be held at approximately 12:55 on Tuesday, June 23rd, at their regular dismissal door, as we bid farewell to our 5th graders.
Last week, we held a special reunion for the Coolidge School Class of 2019. This annual tradition welcomes back high school seniors to the halls of Coolidge School. Students, parents, and staff (including retirees) joined together to watch a special video, recreate class photos, and eat ice cream. We were so excited that 50 students out of the class of 60 came back to school.
Attention Kindergarten parents… You are invited to our Kindergarten celebration to be held in your child’s classroom on June 16th at 11:00 AM. The students and teachers are planning a special time for all of you. More information will be provided by your child’s teacher.
