New Jersey school districts will administer the NJ Start Strong assessments once again this fall for all students in Grades 4-8. The Start Strong assessments are based on prior-year academic standards and serve to inform teachers and families of students’ academic needs at the beginning of the school year. These online assessments cover English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science (Grade 6 only), and take approximately 45-60 minutes to administer. Elementary testing in WSD will begin September 28th, and testing for middle school begins September 19th.
