We pride ourselves on building a caring community here at WSD. Effective July 1, 2022, the New Jersey anti-bullying law (HIB) was updated in several areas. One key change is that any student HIB offenses will be included on that student’s official record, which was not the case in prior years. Also, school districts must have an anonymous HIB reporting portal - ours can be found on the Anti-Bullying page of our website. In addition, the law has been updated to introduce family sanctions for student cyber harassment. To read a comprehensive summary of all the HIB law changes, visit the NJPSA website.
