📚 Academic and Administrative Updates

Official New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA) score reports from May 2026 were mailed home last month for students in Grades 4-8. The annual overview of state assessment results will be presented to the school board at their next meeting on November 10.

In administrative news, Diane Ciaramella will retire on December 31 as our Director of Student Personnel Services. Throughout her five years with us, Ms. Ciaramella has been a dedicated leader for our student support programs and a trusted partner to our parents and staff. We are grateful for her service to the Wyckoff School District and wish her the best in her upcoming retirement. To select her successor, a search committee will be established and will begin interviewing candidates this month.

🎨 Arts and Athletics

Great job to our EMS girls soccer and volleyball teams for their excellent seasons and strong records. We are proud of our student-athletes and coaches for their hard work and dedication. In music, our students are preparing for their winter concerts which will take place over the next two months.

🏛️ Community News

PTO Fall Harvest Festivals have been taking place across our schools, along with author visits and respect assemblies. A big thank you to all those who volunteer and give to the PTO for the benefit of our students. In the same vein, the school board will recognize the PTO’s Economy Shop volunteers at their next meeting on Tuesday, November 10.

Sincerely,

sig
