📣 District Leadership Update

With Assistant Superintendent Mrs. Grace White retiring at the end of the year, we want to thank her for her dedicated service to our district and wish her the best in her next chapter.

Looking ahead, I am pleased to announce that I will be recommending Mr. Robert Famularo, our current principal of Coolidge School, to the Board for the role of Assistant Superintendent at the June 8 Board meeting. Mr. Famularo has a strong record of success and a longstanding commitment to our district, making him uniquely qualified to build upon the strong foundation Mrs. White has established.

To ensure continuity in our operations, the district will immediately post the anticipated opening for his current position.

📊 Strong Academic Results Reflected in State Reporting

The 2024–2025 NJ School Performance Reports were recently released by the New Jersey Department of Education and are available on the Department’s website. These reports provide updated district and school performance data and reflect the strength of our instructional programs and the ongoing dedication of our staff to student learning and achievement.

🎶 Sports, Arts, and Student Activities

Congratulations to our EMS Baseball Team on winning the league championship this season! We also celebrate our softball team for advancing to the semifinals, along with our track athletes for an outstanding spring season. We are proud of all of our student-athletes, coaches, and advisors for their dedication and effort throughout the year.

Our spring music concerts also showcased the talent and hard work of our students and staff, and we thank our school community for its continued support.

🎓 Student Recognition

We are also proud to recognize our six Eisenhower Middle School students who recently represented our district at the National Geography Bee in Orlando, earning semifinal and quarterfinal placements while demonstrating outstanding skill, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

👏 Financial Recognition

We are proud to share that the district has again received the ASBO International Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting, recognizing the Board’s continued commitment to transparency and strong fiscal stewardship.

💪 Closing Reflection

As we approach the close of another school year, I’ve been reflecting on how growth in education is rarely linear—it often happens in an upward spiral of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement. I am grateful for the many ways our families support our schools and students each day.

Thank you for your continued partnership in making Wyckoff Schools a great place for learning and growth.

Sincerely,

sig
