Dear WSD Parents and Families,

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. I’m looking forward to welcoming both new and returning students and families on September 3rd as we begin another great school year together. I am pleased to introduce both the new Washington School Principal,  Mrs. Kelly O’Brien and the new Sicomac School Principal, Mr. Keith Dunbar, and to extend a warm welcome to the new staff members joining the Wyckoff School District (WSD) this year. 

Please note that the first three days of school – September 3, 4, 5 – will be minimum days. When reviewing the 2025-2026 school calendar, please help your child build the habit of good attendance by reserving family trips and vacations for school breaks. Please note the important dates below: 

• August 26. Teacher/ class assignments available 3:00pm via the Genesis Parent Portal*. 

• August 28. Sixth Grade Scavenger Hunts, between 9:00 a.m. and noon at Eisenhower Middle School (EMS).

• September 2. Kindergarten Orientation - 2:00 p.m.  PreK Orientation - 12:50 - 1:50. 

• September 3. First Day of School - Minimum Day. (Sept. 3-5 are minimum days).

• September 10. EMS Back-to-School Night - 6:30pm.

• Sept. 16, 29. Elementary Back-to-School Nights 9/16, except Sicomac on 9/29. 6:30pm.

• September 27. WEF Color Run, 11:00 a.m. at EMS. Details to follow via email from WEF.
