The Wyckoff School District has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from the NAMM Foundation for their outstanding support and commitment to music education. Now in its 26th year, the Best Communities for Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement for providing music access and education to all students.
"This award reflects the strength of our music program and the commitment of our educators, schools, and community," said Dr. Kerry Postma, Superintendent of Schools. "We’re grateful to our dedicated music staff for inspiring our students and making music such a vibrant part of the Wyckoff schools."
To earn the Best Communities designation, Wyckoff provided detailed information about its music program, including funding, instruction time, student participation, facilities, and community involvement. The data was reviewed by the arts education research firm WolfBrown.
