Dear Wyckoff School District Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday. The first academic marking period will draw to a close next week on December 6. Students have been mastering content and practicing skills under the direction of the dedicated faculty and staff. Report cards will be issued on December 13.

Invitation to Strategic Planning Session #3

Thank you to all who attended our first two Strategic Planning forums this fall. All members of the WSD community are invited to join us for the third session on November 30 at 7 p.m. at Eisenhower Middle School. To register, please complete the form at https://forms.gle/abf7bCPtHEZkkqMK6. These sessions provide an opportunity for WSD staff and families to come together as a community to discuss our goals for the future of our schools.

$30,000 Donation from the Wyckoff Education Foundation

A big thank you to the Wyckoff Education Foundation and all of its contributors for the generous donation of $30,000 presented to the school board this month. The money will be equally distributed to all five schools and has been designated for programs and items related to student health and wellness. We greatly appreciate the community support.

Student Recognition

Congratulations to the EMS boys’ soccer team for winning the championship this season under the leadership of Coach Cascio. Along with these outstanding players, two additional middle schoolers, Leila Jalil and Gemma Matarazzo, were recognized at this month’s school board meeting for winning first place in the Coccia Foundation 2023 Italian Heritage Video Contest under the guidance of their teacher Ms. Strippoli. Well done, students!

Thank you for your continued support of our schools as we work together to create a bright future for all of our students.

Sincerely,

Kerry L. Postma, Ed.D.
