Parent Workshops, Winter Concerts and School Board Update
Posted on 01/07/2022

Happy New Year to all staff, students and families in our Wyckoff School District community. On January 6, 2022, the CDC updated their COVID-19 guidance for school settings, reducing the recommended time for isolation and quarantine periods to five days. For details see CDC’s webpage on Quarantine and Isolation for School Settings. The Wyckoff School District will implement the updated guidance as soon as it is adopted by the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH). We will send a broadcast with specific details regarding these anticipated reduced isolation and quarantine timeframes as soon as they are made official by the NJDOH.

We are pleased to announce the Wyckoff Connected Parents Series for 2022. Please see our website for the list of offerings along with registration links. Upcoming dates include a Student Rights Legal Workshop for parents of tweens and teens on January 11th, and a workshop for parents of English Language Learners on January 12th.

Winter Concerts Continue

Eisenhower Middle School musicians will perform in their grade level winter concerts throughout the month of January. The Grade 8 concert will be held on January 12th, Grade 7 on January 19th, and Grade 6 on January 26th.

National School Board Recognition Month

January is National School Board Recognition Month. We appreciate our elected officials who volunteer their time and service to the students, staff and families of the Wyckoff School District. On January 3rd, the Wyckoff Board of Education held its annual reorganization meeting, where Mr. Robert Francin and Mr. Daniel McHugh were named as President and Vice-President, respectively. Dr. Kathleen Greaney was sworn in as a new trustee, and Mrs. Georgina Nico was sworn in for a third term.
