This week, the Wyckoff School District celebrated Administrative Professionals Day. We would like to extend on behalf of WSD our sincere appreciation for all the administrative professionals and secretarial staff who serve our students, faculty, and families with excellence every day. Next week is Principal Appreciation Day (May 1) and Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2-6). We are proud to have strong, capable and kind leaders at each of our schools, and we are grateful for our caring and knowledgeable teaching staff who educate our students and serve our school community faithfully each day. These dedicated individuals make WSD the excellent place to learn and work that it is.

Budget Approved by School Board

The 2022-2023 school budget was approved by the Board of Education this week after a public hearing held Monday night. The budget includes an additional special education teacher, a part-time English language teacher, and a part-time behaviorist. Also, two additional physical education teaching positions will be shared among the four elementary schools to increase the minutes that students have physical education each week. A big thank you to our school business administrator Patricia Salvati and assistant business administrator Jessica Viola for their work in preparing and presenting the proposed budget to the Board, the public, and the Department of Education.
