The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) is a modern assessment that not only evaluates each student's progress in reading, writing and math, but also provides better information for teachers and parents to identify where students need help, or are excelling, so they are able to enhance instruction to meet students' individual needs. Not just a multiple-choice bubble test, PARCC challenges students to think, solve real-world problems, and explain their answers. Parents of students in high school graduation classes of 2016-2021: Take note of NJ's revised High School Graduation Assessment Requirements, which the State Board of Education approved August 3, 2016. This is particularly important for our Algebra and Geometry students at FAMS.
