A little about me...

I started teaching 3rd at Washington School in 2001. I've always had a passion for teaching and technology, I went back to school and earned my MS in Educational Technology from Ramapo College and became the technology teacher at Washington School. I love the ever-changing world of technology. There is always something new to discover and share!

Technology at Washington School...

The Washington School Computer Lab contains 26 Apple desktop computers and a classroom set of iPads, which are available to all students.

Students in grades K-2 attend computer class once per week. We use a variety of software, including; Kid Pix, Typing Pal, Google Drive, Google Apps, iPhoto, Google Chrome, various websites (all of which can be found on the links pages of this website). Many websites have a login username and password that will be sent home for the students to access at home, as well as in school.
Students is grades 3-5 experience technology integration in their classroom. Students in grades 2-5 have access to Chrome Books in their classroom. Google Drive and Google Apps are primarily utilized. Websites that students are introduced to during the school year can be found in the students' Google Classroom accounts.
