PARCC INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

PARCC begins this week for students in grades 3-5! As with all assessments or with anything we challenge ourselves with, our message to students is that they should try their hardest and work to their potential when taking this test. Although we know that testing is not always the best indicator of future success, we do know that assessments and testing are an important part of a child's education leading up to college admissions and beyond.

Click here to read an important letter regarding the PARCC and click here for resources for parents. Please refrain from scheduling doctor's appointments during testing whenever possible and ensure children get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast. Testing is typically completed by lunchtime.

Dates:
Grade 5- 4/25-5/3
Grade 4-  4/26- 5/4
Grade 3-   4/27-5/5
