• The Lincoln School Chorus

    CB

All students in the 4th and 5th grade are invited to join our school's chorus! We meet once a week in the morning and have several performances throughout the school year. Chorus is voluntary like many of the other school activities in 4th and 5th grade, but there is so much to be gained by joining this large group of singers and talented musicians!

4th grade students meet on Wednesday mornings at 8:00 a.m.,
and 5th grade students meet on Thursday mornings at 8:00 a.m.

This year, the dates are as follows:

4th and 5th Grade Chorus Holiday Concert                 Thursday, December 15th, 2016 at 10:00 and 1:30

4th Grade Chorus Spring Concert                                 Wednesday, March 29th,  2017 at 10:00 and 1:30

    5th Spring Musical Production                                      Thursday, June 1st, 2017 at 1:30 and 7:00

4th grade chorus performs with the 5th grade chorus in the Holiday Choral Concert in December. 4th grade also performs in the spring concert with 3rd grade recorders in April. There, solo opportunities are featured as well as more musically challenging repertoire including harmony and part-singing!

5th grade chorus performs in the Holiday Concert in December with the 4th grade chorus. More solo opportunities, part singing, and holiday characters are also featured in this concert!

In the spring, all 5th grade students participate in the spring musical. We rehearse during the students' music class time each week. Also, there are additional before-school rehearsals for lead characters and certain parts as per special spring rehearsal schedules. Please feel free to contact Mrs. Panzitta during musical season with any questions! Email is a perfect way to communicate during this busy time :)

I would like to thank all parents who continually support our program and allow their children to participate in such a growing, musical experience!
